Telehealth – the exchange of medical information via electronic communications – has vastly changed the way veterans receive access to health care. And it all starts with a cell phone!

By using cell phones, veterans can get second opinions on tricky medical situations from doctors located miles away. They can receive diagnoses from medical specialists and they can access psychiatric care via Skype-like technology when most needed.

A 2016 Department of Veterans Affaris study reported that telehealth devices reduced hospital bed days of care by 58 percent, hospital admissions by 32 percent, while telemental health reduced psych bed days of care by 35 percent. And the need for mobile devices is steadily growing.

With  our CellaPhone program, you can donate used cell phones and mobile devices—regardless of their condition, working or not—to veterans.

Simply letting those old cell phones collect dust takes up space in your home. Throwing them in the trash is harmful to the environment. So, donate your old cell phones to CellaPhone and give them new life by helping veterans who need them.

We accept new and used, working and nonworking, cell phones, smartphones, tablets, laptops and MP3 players.
